Remote controlled Lawn Mower

I’ve always thought it would be neat to build a remote controlled lawn mower. Then I could avoid those hot and sweaty sun scorching days and mow the lawn from the comfort of my air-conditioned home. Well, it looks like someone else has already beat me to the task. I guess I’ll have to settle for that remote controlled snow blower.

What are portable applications and how are they useful?

A portable application is software installed on portable media (usb drive, portable drive, iPod, CD Rom) that you can bring with you to use on a client computer. This allows you to run your applications via a removable device and then save your personal settings and work back to the removable device. Pneumatic Lego Wheel

I recently encountered this by accident while doing research on perpetual motion machines. This has nothing to do with perpetual motion but is non-the-less interesting. It’s a pneumatically controlled Lego Wheel. using six pistons and six switches and of course lego parts.
