Ferentus 2008 – Ferentus Returns – NOT

As we all know, Ferentus has been gone for a long time now. Many of it’s followings like Xiones, and Herrcot are gone as well. So will Ferentus ever return? Well we have received all kinds of emails and comments regarding it’s return. However, after looking into each of these responses, we have come to the conclusion that Ferentus simply isn’t going to return.

Last Chaos – Another potential Ferentus replacement

Much like Ferentus and Shaiya, Last Chaos is an MMORPG Massive multiplayer online role playing game where thousands of players can simultaneously be connected, fight, upgrade their courage and battle skills through adventures, quests and crafting skills with fellow adventurers. It is set in the land of Iris, a place where anarchy, terror and ambition reign after an epic struggle between the Gods. Last Chaos makes for another great Ferentus replacement as it is both free to play and looks and feels a lot like Ferentus. It’s a great game to add to your list of games to try.

Shaiya is a new MMORPG developed by SONOV and offered via Aeria Games. It might just fit in as an optimal Ferentus replacement for those that used to love to play Ferentus. It’s currently being offered in Beta and is FREE to play for all. The storyline is as follows:

Alien VS Predator 2 AVP2 Trailer

Alien VS Predator 2 is the sequel to the all so famous action packed, horror, sci-fi movie Alien VS Predator. Set for a release date of December 2007, this AVP2 movie trailer surely puts things into perspective. We can all hope that the end result of Alien VS Predator 2 is as good as the AVP2 trailer. If so, it should be a treat.

Medal of Honor Airborne Demo

For those of you who have been waiting for another release of the WWII-inspired shooter Medal of Honor, your wait is now over. A new playable demo named Airborn has been officially released. Medal of Honor Airborne is the latest video game from EA’s acclaimed Medal of Honor franchise. This is the first game in the Medal of Honor series to be released on next generation platforms.

Herrcot English Version

Herrcot is the German equivalent of Ferentus. (A Ferentus Replacement) Ferentus was a FREE 3D fantasyMMORPG Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game published by DQ. It has been rumored that Ferentus was shut down late in 2006 due to a conflict with NaonTech Co. Ltd. over the creative rights of the game. Since the closure of Ferentus, many people have begun to play Herrcot. Herrcot is essentially the same game with the exception that it is offered in the German language. Here, we cover where to sign up and download Herrcot and then how to further patch Herrcot for the English language.

I have no idea what the following video is suppose to mean. What I do know is that to me it symbolizes something new every time I watch it. From the cycles of life, to a multi-complex creation from one single idea or concept. This is one of my favorite videos, for the simple reason that I am able to capture something new every time I watch it.

Long Live Ferentus

Ferentus was a 3D fantasyMMORPG “Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game” published by DQ. Ferentus was virtually identical to games Hercott and Xiones. The free open beta was released around August of 2005 and continued through late 2006. On January 19th 2007 the DQ team announced on the homepage that the Ferentus project was closed.

300 The Movie

300 is a very intuitive and graphically intense movie set in the midst of the Persian Greco war. The idea revolves around the Battle of Thermopylae. Here, the Spartan king Leonidas led an army of 300 soldiers into battle against the massive invading Persian army led by Xerxes. According to ancient legend, their valor and sacrifice inspired all of Greece to unite against their Persian foe, leading to the origins of democracy.
